God & Me Religious Award

For Tigers, Wolves, and Bears 

A big part of being a Cub Scout is being awarded for your accomplishments.  There is  no requirement in scouting to earn any award and they are not part of earning rank badges.  By working on awards, scouts have the opportunity to be recognized for achieving goals in areas that they may not otherwise be exposed to.  Awards give a scout a sense of achievement as as they are proudly worn on his uniform.  The leaders in Pack 304 support scouting awards and work with the scouts and plan pack activities so that every scout has opportunities to earn the following awards:

Class dates:  November 01, 04, 08, and 11

God & Me award for Tiger, Wolf, and Bear.  Click here for information from www.praypub.org.  Classes will be held on November 1, 4, 8, and 11, 2004 (Monday and Thursday's from 5:00 to 6:00) at Plainfield Christian Church.  This class will be taught by Rev. Justin White, Youth Minister at PCC.  This class is the Protestant version, however, all Cub Scouts and their parents are welcome.  There are other packs in the area that have this for other religions that you would be welcome to attend.  Questions contact Tom Travis  TTravis@CSPack304.org  507-5433.
